Our club comprises approximately 100 members spread across the whole of the South Island. Each year for the past five years we have staged an event that we call "Day-in-the-Dirt", and we have many varied types of motor vehicles taking part in a fun-day on a speedway track. The event has gained wider popularity each year. In years 2, 3 and 4 Wilson Print Ltd were our joint sponsors, and this year they were our major sponsor. Andrea and Laurie Dempsey (owners of Wilson Print Ltd) have been truly marvellous in supporting us with all our artwork, advertising posters, flyers, programmes and tickets, all printed in colour. It appears that nothing was ever a problem, even when they had deadlines to meet, and the quality is always excellent.
